MYLYMOK / MELYMOK / MELYMICK / MELMOCK / MYLLIMAKI - SASKATCHEWAN, CANADA
My great grandparents Joseph Woloshyn and Marie Melymick (Mylymok) were married in 1921 at the Ruthenian Greek Catholic Church of Blessed Virgin Mary.
The minister was Reverend P Pasichryk of Alvena Sk and signed at St. Julien.
The church appears to be at this link and is 3-4 km north west of Alvena and the church was replaced in 1923

JOE/JOSEPH WOLASZYN/WOLOSHYN (Joel ?) born in Austria 1896/1898 and died 19?? He married on June 26 1921 at Ruthenian Greek Catholic Church of Blessed Virgin Mary which is 4 miles north west of Alvena SK at Section 22-41-1 which is now St Marys church.
MARIE MYLOMOK born Jan 4 1903 in Fish Creek. She married Joseph Woloshyn (possibly an arranged wedding) at age 18. Possibly separated by 1924. He was possibly dead already by 1937 but no death records in Saskatchewan ever!? Marie lived with Elmer Brown a while before getting married in the 1940’s. They divorced after the war. Marie died July 14 1988 in Saskatoon, SK.
