New ongoing Dark Horse series featuring the original characters from the 1977 movie received media publicity and sold out its decent 40,000 print run and went into multiple printings. | NOWHERE MEN #1-2 both sold out of small print run. Hot new Image title debuted at Christmas 2012 but took a few weeks to sell out. The latest and last new Image title to see large price gains. | |||||
AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #698-700 (Marvel 2012) The death of Peter Parker saw instant sell outs for any related issues and all saw 2nd printings and demand was fever high for tie-ins to the new Superior Spider-man and Doc Octopus. Even the Ditko Variant of #700 hit a high of $1200.00 only a few weeks after release. |
