www.HoknesComics.comIn 2015 IDW Comics had the license for Disney related vintage comic book characters and started up 4 new monthly series. Each issue would have a 2nd cover available to comic shops called "subscription covers". These are fun to collect but are almost as common as the regular covers. There is a 3rd cover printed called a retailer incentive cover with a ratio of 1:25. This means that for every 25 copies they ordered of the first 2 covers combined total they would qualify to order just 1 copy of this rare "ratio variant". The smaller the print run gets of the regular covers are guarantees an even bigger rarity of the 1:25 ratio variant. Here is a complete checklist to all of them and estimated print runs.
The first comic in the series was released in April 2015. Each month IDW debuted a new series until they had all 4 titles published each month. Sales continued to drop predictably each issue so by December 2015 the 1:25 ratio variants were all cancelled - the last issues with a ratio variant are for sure the rarest ones with print runs under 300 copies. In May 2016 IDW started up printing 1:10 ratio variants.

Print runs for each issue range from a low 250 copies printed up to 980 copies.
These will all be very popular collectibles in the future as copies on the market dry up and collectors can no longer find any copies!
Mickey Mouse #1 at 971 copies is the highest printing of the 30 different 1:25 ratio variants made for Disney.
Walt Disney's Comics And Stories #726 was the last of the 30 ratio variants made and it has the smallest print run and is also a Christmas cover.
