BEST SELLING COMIC BOOKS OF THE LAST 25 YEARS = 1990-2015  as compiled by Terry Hoknes  hoknes@hotmail.com

Known sales figures compiled by John Jackson Miller at www.comichron.com and in Miller's book Comic Buyers Guide Standard Catalog of Comic Books

Terry Hoknes has taken all that known data and made calculations based on Capital City and Diamond Comics figures and circulation numbers to come up with likely really print run numbers for each book.   The goal is to list all separate variant covers individually     (For example:  Star Wars #1 Marvel 2015 would possibly only have print run of approx 400,000 based on just regular cover alone)

The highest print runs of any comics in the past 20 years are likely all FCBD Free Comic Book Day variations and these figures are not released but example of FCBD 2014 The Walking Dead edition surely had a print run higher than 1 million.

This comic had orders of 625,000 in 1993 at the peak of big print runs for Image.  But this comic shipped a year late so its possible that retailers were able to change/lower their orders and that this book might have a much lower print run than listed here.  This book actually sold out and went up in value as a hot book shortly after release.
