TERRY HOKNES - 60 SONGS AND 60 VIDEOS IN 60 DAYS ! hoknes@hotmail.com Project from Oct 19th to Dec 19th 2012 Terry Hoknes completed the goal of recording 60 songs and creating 60 complete music videos on December 19th 2012. Each day between 4 to 10 hours is spent on each individual song/video. Terry Hoknes, of Saskatoon, SK, Canada, filmed each instrumental performance live so you watch him record the actual tracks of the finished audio and then edited the clips together for the official video for each song. Each song/video is posted on youtube and on this site daily Terry has been writing songs and recording for 30 years. He has written over 1100 songs and decided to create this project which would motivate him to record many of the songs he had written over 20 years ago but had never recorded. 99% of the songs in this project were written by Terry as a teenager. Terry wrote every song and performed all the instruments and vocals plus final audio mixing and video filming. He had a few special guests sit in including Saskatoon city Mayor Jim Maddin, singer/songwriter Dale Enns, bass guitarist Lynn Victoria and singer/songwriter Marilyn FayeParney.. We are hoping Guinness Book of World Records would recognize this project as the biggest continuous daily original song recording project ever achieved by a songwriter/performer. |
Terry's Top 4500 Songs Chart Project Terry Hoknes completed a project that took 1000 hours during 2012 to compile a list of his 4500 personal favorite songs of all time. He had to listen to each song and put them in order of preference and he included data from his 25 years of personal music charts and life events and then included biographical data for each song (from wikipedia.org) and also included a music video (from youtube.com) for every single song. He believes he has by far created the worlds largest personal favorite music project. |
